Happy One Year Salvation Day!

Happy One Year Salvation Day Baby Boy! In the past year since you have asked Jesus Christ into your heart, I have watched you grow in Christ in many ways. I have caught you reading your Bible in private. You have taught your three year old sister to pray and you have prayed for others. Your compassion to others is incredible. I am proud of you Son and I look forward to seeing your next years journey in Christ as your grow even stronger! I thank God each day for you and I pray that you continue in your daily walk with Christ as your Lord in Savior. I love you, Braden Chase!

MckLinky Monday: Where the Crow's Go For the Summer

The RHOK

Today at The RHOK, the Housewives are asking about Summer plans.

What are YOU doing for summer vacation? Where are you going? What are your plans?
Are you loading up the car and heading somewhere or does this year bring a "stay-cation" for you and yours?

Well, where and what are The 4-Crow's doing for the Summer?

Lots of backyard playdates!

...and did I mention that my MIL has a swimming pool?

And of course Braden is leaving next week to go on his annual fishing trip with my Daddy at Lake Texoma to catch plenty of water moccasins and mosquito bites. I am going to leave him down there for a full two weeks. I must be insane, at least only a week of it will be at the lake, the other with my Moma. I will then travel back to Wilson on the 12th for my nephew Rowdy's b-day and to see my cousin Jill who is flying in from Iowa with her husband Matt. They married last 4th of July and are now expecting their first child in October. I will also get to see several of my other cousins that I haven't got to see in awhile. Kind of a mini Williams Family reunion.  There will also be the annual Tomlinson Family reunion sometimes this summer, just no date yet. Hopefully, I can help plan a big fish fry for the 4th of July- and of course if you are reading this you are invited!

So, no great big plans here! Just a great stay-cation, full of friends and family! I wouldn't have it any other way!

This Week At The Crow's Nest...

Wow, what a week! For me it started out sickly. Stuffy head, achy ears so Moma Crow got a shot in the behind after going back to the doctor on Monday. But, of course that doesn't keep me at home, well it did over the weekend. We had severe weather on Wednesday night, portions of Oklahoma had tornadoes touch down. I think the final count was 17 tornadoes in all.  Also, over at The RHOK, we found out that we are going to be having a giveaway for the Sex and The City 2 Soundtrack- we are so excited.  After our RHOK Out this next Wednesday night at Louie's in Jenks, we will be going to see the opening show so we can do a group review!

Jason and I had our 5th Wedding Anniversary on the 19th! Yay Us! He of course has been working A LOT of hours, bless his heart. We will celebrate it sometimes this weekend.

Braden, my little man, took a tour of his new school this week. Yes it was his final week at Liberty Elementary as a Third Grader, and his report card reflected all A's- now in my day straight A's for all four semester's meant the Superintendent's Honor Roll and you got a special certificate at the Awards Assembly. I guess I'm gonna have to do the honor for him myself! He also pulled a tooth on Thursday night all by himself, he lost it down the bathroom sink!  Not knowing if he still believed in the Tooth Fairy or not, she only left him $1 and didn't sprinkle her fairy dust, aka glitter. He got up Friday morning and was a little disappointed that there wasn't any fairy dust, I just explained that if there is no tooth, there is no dust! Whew....that was close! On Thursday, he dressed up like Peyton Manning and presented a Penny Arcade. Very interesting. The school cafeteria was full of third graders and they all were dressed up with a cup. You dropped a penny in their cup and then they proceeded to tell you about the character they were dressed like. Below is the Peyton Manning wanna be and God help us all, I hope and pray he is one day! Isn't he handsome?

Miss Kaybrie. Well, where do I start with her?  This week I finally learned what it is going to be like to chauffeur two children to four different places and juggle four different schedules.  Kaybrie had swim lessons four days this week and last week we added ballet class once per week to her schedule on Thursday. She is taking swim lessons with her BFF Faith and both girls are doing so good. They are both growing up so fast. It is very hard to sit behind a glass partition and watch someone else teach your baby to swim in a big pool. And dance class. Wow, I cannot believe how attentive my little drama queen is.  I of course am very partial and I think every thing she does is perfect, but I can say she does have more coordination already than I ever had as a child. So who knows maybe she can dance! IDK, but she sure is adorable in that leotard and those slippers, isn't she?

Happy Mother's Day-2010

Look who got into a picture w/ her baby birds today? Moma Crow! Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there! I hope you have as good of a Mother's Day as I have. Not to brag or anything, but three cards, a digital picture frame, my MIL going to church with us and making lunch for me (beef and chicken shish-ka- bobs, with salad, baked potato and the best strawberry pie), a BBQ basket, and a three hour nap- makes for a pretty happy Moma!!!

MckLinky Monday: The Proposal

The RHOK

This week at The RHOK the question is How Did He Propose?

For the Crow Love Bird's, it was Superbowl 39 (don't ask me to figure out the Roman Numerals),
February 5, 2005! I worked that particular Saturday. Jason, Braden, who was only four years old at the time, and my MIL went to Star Jewelers in downtown Broken Arrow to pick out the ring. What an awesome, thoughtful man to include his future son in not only such a huge purchase decision but a life decision. After work, my normal routine was to buy groceries at Wal-Mart. The guys met me, don't you know how hard it was for them to keep a secret?  Five years ago, this past SuperBowl weekend my wonderful husband hid an engagement ring in the grocery bags that I brought home from Wal-Mart, he waited patiently while I put them away, and then when I found the box, he dropped to his knee and became the happiest man ever when he made me the happiest woman ever! I love SuperBowl weekends! And yes, I always check for hidden treasure in everything!!
