Versona: Grand Opening

I was invited to be a guest at the February 26, 2015 grand opening of the Versona located in the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center. After the week I have had, I was in the need of some therapy, and personal retail therapy was calling my name.

From the moment you walk into this store you are in awe. It is so big. Everything is SO organized. Organized by colors. If you want a Cool Mint clothing item, the table behind it has a variety of mint colored accessories from earrings to purses to match. If you are Santa Fe inspired, there is a turquoise or rustic accessory to go with it. There wasn't an inch of this store that Miss K and I didn't explore. I believe she touched every single accessory. (She even told me that the restroom was nice, yes that is important to kids and Moma's. I would sure hate to leave my much desired merchandise behind due to a potty break.)

Oh, Black & White. How I love thee. Obviously Miss K does also.

I will be returning for this dress! Only $34.99.

Verona prides itself in being, "An exclusive women's boutique offering apparel and accessories at exceptional prices every day!" It's prices range from $7.99-$54.99. Sizes 2-14 and XS-XL. Here are a few things that we tried on/bought.

Marsha, the store manager even took a grand opening selfie with me. The entire staff is so nice. Especially Gabriel, the gentleman who greeted us at the door. Be sure to follow Versona on all their social media sites. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the Tulsa Hills store even has its very own Instagram.

If you are out and about this weekend, be sure to stop by the newest store in Tulsa Hills- Versona! Near Michael's, 7522 South Olympia Avenue. Be sure to tell them I sent you!

And if you are looking for a Versona in a city located close to you, click here.

*I was sent a VIP gift card and an exclusive invitation to attend the grand opening. This post is 100% my own opinion. And of course I spent more than the gift card.

Extreme Shopper Wanna Be. Maybe? NOT!!!

I like to save money. Who doesn't? I read the blogs, follow the tips. I do pretty well. I admit to everyone, that I am not a couponer. If I have 4 coupons that work on a shopping trip I have done well. I am a comp shopper. I am the one who is going up and down the aisles holding four different store ads and dropping them at least once during my visit. I can't/don't really calculate what I save but I do know its been a minimum of $8 on four watermelon this summer.

I really love it when I accidentally run across a bargain like I did today.

Yes. It makes my heart race, maybe I could somehow become one of those Extreme Couponers and save even more. I bet there was a $2 coupon in some paper I didn't get and this could have been a money maker. Then I could have taken home two. One for me and one to donate. A girl could dream or be slapped. No really, this is a great deal and I deeply admire the people who have made it their full time business to save themselves and others money. Keep showing me the way. Shoot, take me shopping with you!! Maybe, just maybe one day I will get it.

Did I mention school supply shopping is coming up? That is probably my favorite time besides Christmas to find the deals and steals. Boxes of Crayola Crayons for .25!! Spiral Notebooks for .10!!! I can't wait.

Have You Consigned/Shopped Rhea Lana's Yet?

Before I do anything "new" I am one to research, even if it involves something as simple as consigning clothes to make a little money, so I pulled up Rhea Lana's website, then sent the following text to my dear friend Shanna:

To serve with love and integrity, families everywhere with inviting, excellent and valuable children’s consignment events is the mission statement of Rhea Lana's.

I have to admit when I pulled that up on my computer screen I wanted to know more. Then when I saw the priorities. Wow!

Faith – God First. We are a company based firmly on Christian Principles.
Family - Family Second. Family is vital and it is the reason we work.
Work – Work is Third. A career with RL, Inc. is an amazing job, but only as other priorities are in order.

Oh, and the fact that they are headquartered near my MIL's hometown in Conway, Arkansas- yes, Razorback Country!!! WooPig!

Needless to say, my kids outgrown clothes are washed, pressed, hung, tagged, entered into the computer and dropped off to find new kids to cover for a season.

With franchises in 20 states, Oklahoma contains six, with two being here in the Tulsa Metro area. This weekend, September 16-20 is the Broken Arrow sale. IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO CONSIGN!!! Nana is visiting! Yay!
We ALL went to Tar-Jay on Saturday. Emphasis on the all.
Daddy Crow had a rare Saturday off.
Here is a sneak peek at a video I found on my iPhone of our shopping excursion. You will have to go read me at The RHOK to read more on why I will be vacationing shopping at Tar-Jay by myself for now on!
