Today's Post: Frugal Friday

Today I am posting at Oklahoma Women Bloggers. I am sharing a little secret that I do at my nest. I make my own foamy hand soap. Seriously. I found the idea on Pinterest. It's frugal. It's fast. It's safe.

  • Rinse and Clean your leftover pumper bottles. I peeled off my labels, then sprayed them with WD-40 to get the sticky off. Works like magic. Then be sure to use some dish soap to off. I just love WD-40.
  • Fill bottle with about one inch of soap.
  • Slowly fill the rest of the bottle with cold water. Don’t completely fill. The pump has to go in and you don’t want it to overflow.
  • Place pump back on bottle. Do not shake, but rather tilt from side to side to mix soap and water.
You must go read the story behind this. It's a good one. Everything I do is for a reason and usually involves one of the 4 Crow's!

Today's Post

Today's Post is about me LETTING GO at Oklahoma Women Bloggers.

"He’s 12. Never been on a jet plane. We are not the “sleep away” parents. I can’t count on a single hand the times he has spent the night with friends. Grandparents have to beg for nightly visits from our children. We are just the parents who find comfort in having their children safe and sound under our roof and watch. Did I mention he’s never been on an airplane?"

To read the rest you will have to go to Oklahoma Women Bloggers. Don't forget to leave some comment love.

Finally a dream come true for him, while I'm holding back tears and letting go.
I can only hope someone catches him in this particular pose/shot. HINT HINT!!!

Oklahoma Women Bloggers

Here is a taste of today's post:

"Think about it, who is your Moma, Mama, Momma, Madre, Mother in Law? You know the woman your children or future children will call Nana, Grandma, Granny, Mamaw or whatever other name of endearment is chosen. Those two or more special ladies in your life that not only birthed you, but also your significant other. That raised you, your spouse and now may or may not play a significant role in your life and your own children’s life. If they do, like in mine, you are truly blessed."

To read the rest of the story you must head on over to Oklahoma Women Bloggers, I promise it's a must read. With a picture of PIE!!

Today's Post...

...is at The RHOK!

Today I tell you as Mrs. Hart why I know it's time for a New Year and time for a change of my habits.
I give you ten reasons.
Please, do not think less of me.
An ugly habit that I have picked up with having a family sick for three weeks in addition to two weeks of Christmas Vacation.

Today's Post...

Kaybrie at her Thanksgiving Feast at school!
...is at The RHOK!

Today The RHOK kids are "cooking" up Thanksgiving Dinner.
See how they "think" its done. I've also included some recipes from 1984, from my 1st Grade teacher. Thanks Mrs. Chaney!

My kids have a few ideas, but thankfully I will be sending them out of the kitchen this  particular Thanksgiving for any of you who might be concerned.

Kaybrie age 5-  Little Cornbread Muffins...one box of cornbread, one box of milk, crack an egg- don't put the shell in. Put them in Mommy's big mixer bowl. Grab a big spoon. Mix it up. Grab a small spoon and put in Grandma's little muffin pans. Then let Mommy put it in the oven until its finished. I'm not allowed to touch it when its hot.

Today's Post, Lipstick and All...

...is at The RHOK.

Today's post by ♥Mrs. Hart♥ was inspired by a local news segment aired 15 years ago and revisited this past Monday.

What does the shape of my lipstick say about me?
Finally, my friends and family can quit making fun of me.

Now I'm curious.
What does yours say about you?
Leave me a comment at The RHOK today, or even here at The 4-Crow's!

Today's Post...

...is at The RHOK!
Today I/Mrs. Hart am/is 'fessin up.
I might be teaching my kid's some nasty backseat driver habits. I might have some road rage issues. Although, I personally think some people on the road really should go back to drivers ed. Go read today's post at The RHOK and find out why my daughter insists I tell everyone why a male driver blew a kiss at me on Friday- so glad she didn't see the sign language he tried to teach her!
