The Crow Kite Festival

As a child, and an adult, I loved watching kites. Nope, I couldn't fly one to save my life! On Friday, Braden & Kaybrie paid a visit to Grandma, so that the parents could have a little ALONE time together. Grandma's neighbor Miss Vi, sent Braden home with a kite. On Sunday, Jason, Braden & Kaybrie put the kite together, the tail included! (A few years ago, Jason tried to omit the tail, and never could get it to fly) Here are a few pics of our kite festival. They had fun, and it was really hard to get good shots because of the wind!

This was Kaybrie's first time to fly a kite, look how they are all focused!

It's a bird. It's a plane. No, it's a Spiderman Kite.

All the string was rolled out, look how high the kite got!

That looks like so much fun! I haven't flown a kite in a long time, nor have my kiddos. Definitely sounds like a great idea. :-)

It has definitely been windy enough to fly a kite but we've been so busy that we haven't gotten out to do this yet... it looks like so much fun and we love to fly kites. HMMMM we may do this today for Kylan's gotcha day. Thanks for sharing!
