Start It Out Right Sunday- Week 14

Today's sermon was a huge eye opener and something that all of us Christians know, but fail to think about on a daily basis.

1. We live in unsanitary conditions.

2. We let our guard down and we get infected.

Proverbs 4:23 says, Guard your heart more than anything else, because the source of your life flows from it.

There are 100's of strains of the flu, and we use soap, hand sanitizer and inoculations to prevent from getting sick. But there is only one inoculation for eternal life and that is the blood of Jesus Christ.

This past Wednesday, while driving home after church, I asked the kids what they learned. I typically get the classic answer from them, Jesus. Instead, from Kaybrie I got, " Jesus is in my heart, and He said thank you."

I just love seeing how my children are growing in the Lord each week and how they look forward to going to church each time the doors are open. My prayer this week is that God will continue to guard their little hearts and protect them from the evil of this world and to help them make the right decisions and choices.
